Huge Mama Giveaway!

After the hustle and bustle of the holidays and running around getting things for everyone on your list it's time to celebrate you! The mama, the one who does it all and never complains, who stays up late with the babies and the one who makes sure everyone has what they need. It's your turn to hopefully get a little something for yourself to make life just a bit less chaotic. I'm excited to partner up with some amazing brands and offer a giveaway today just for you mamas!

Keep reading to check out all the great things you could win and directions on how to enter the giveaway!

I have so many great things to say about the Cybex Priam. But for the sake of keeping this post short and to the point, the ride is SO smooth. The wheels on this are amazing! You can always interchange the wheels with skis or add a sidekick board for older siblings to stand on. We love the fact that the stroller can face either direction and also lay completely flat for when Copeland or Finn falls asleep.

Okay this stroller is the coolest umbrella stroller! We first saw this in stores and were blown away by just how small in folds. It can actually fit inside my diaper bag if ever need be. Not only does it fold incredibly small and weigh only 9 pounds but it seems extremely comfortable for the kids and maneuvers amazingly! We love our Pockit stroller so much!

This brand offers the most fun and whimsical pj's for both mama and kids. I had to get the burger nightshirt because we love our In-N-Out burgers round here so it just made sense. All of their designs are absolutely adorable though!

These shirts are pretty dang cute and also hilarious! I ordered Finley an "ugly sweater" onesie for a couple Christmas parties and it was a total hit! They also have some pretty great shirts for adults as well. On Finn's outft there is a little picture of a jingle bell on the wrist (you can sort of see it in the picture above) for about 10 minutes straight Finn was trying to figure out how to get the jingle bell off so he could put it in his mouth haha!

The eBags packing cubes are my solution to organization while on vacation. I typically will throw the kids outfits in ziplock baggies but these little cubes make it so much nicer and each boy gets their own cube with their outfits. I was really impressed at just how many pieces I was able to fit in them. It really makes packing and unpacking a dream! Not being organized while living in a hotel room gives me horrible anxiety so I can't wait to use these on our upcoming trip!

Bespoke Post Gift Guide for Him

1. Darts    2. Cedar Socks Box   3. Comb    4. Tie    5. Tee
not pictured. Cooler

I swear shopping for men is impossible. I feel like the world's worst gift giver every time it comes to my husband. He's so hard to shop for you guys! I think this year though I'm pretty on top of my gift giving skills for him. I recently found out about Bespoke Post and it's the holy grail of all things men. I was able to get him some things I felt like he needed; the socks box and the comb (he's always taking my brushes and combs :) and who doesn't want yummy smelling socks?) and was able to get him some things I thought he would like; that awesome dart board and the soft cooler. Our cooler is so old and stained and just gross. Josh is the type of guy where if it's not broke, you don't fix it. But.... It's fun to get something new every once in a while.

If you're having trouble finding something special for the special guy in your life, check out Bespoke Post. They've got some really great and unique gifts! They're also offering free US delivery by December 24 on $100+ orders placed by 1 pm ET 12/21.

Okay now for some silly-ness. :)
Usually the kids are napping or playing in the other room while Josh and I take pictures but today they wanted to be front and center and it was cracking us up!
Copeland is super interested in learning how the camera works so he asked if he could take the pictures. I set up the tripod and told him which button to press and everything. When he would press the button, EVERY TIME he'd walk in front of the camera just as it was going off.

Josh and I were laughing so hard and Copeland was just completely oblivious, as he should be and it was just the best. The last picture is us giving up on taking pictures and calling it a day haha!

Holiday Cards with Minted

You all know how much I love Minted. It's my go to for artwork for our home and around this time of year it's my go to for Christmas cards. I really wanted to get a picture of the whole family but time kind of got away from us and I ended up just taking some quick photos of the boys (which turned out adorable! post coming soon about taking photos at home of your kids) and thanks to minted, made my homemade photo look professional and perfect to send to our friends and family this holiday season.

I also love the pinboard they are offering to showcase the holiday cards we'll be receiving from our friends and family. Do you guys send out holiday cards? I try really hard to be on top of it because I love when I get them from our friends :)

Charming Charlie Holiday Look

^first time heading into Charming Charlie last summer. Totally missing my bright summer blonde hair right now!^^

 Shop The Look Below
faux fur vest  .  over the knee boots  .  satchel  .  furry keychain

I'm really excited about this partnership with Charming Charlie today because I know it is something that a lot of you ladies will love. If you haven't been inside the big pink doors of Charming Charlie, you must find the nearest one and head there now!

I was so surprised when I walked through the store at The District. And not just surprised by the hundreds of accessories but by all the great clothing pieces they had as well! I was able to get this entire outfit (minus the shirt and pants, but they have those too!) from there! It took me quite a while to browse the whole store. There are SO many things to look at and then go back and look at again :)

If you love handbags you really need to check them out. They've got every color bag you could ever possibly need.

The staff at The District Charming Charlie was so incredibly helpful. I walked in a bit overwhelmed and they were quick to lend a helping hand and help me decide on a great outfit and accessories to match. It was such a fun experience! They even have a nice big pink ottoman for Josh and the boys to hang out on. Josh was really impressed by that, so he wanted me to make sure to put that in the blog post... Men ;)

As soon as I saw this faux fur vest I fell in love! I've been dying to try out the fur vest trend and I'm so happy I finally did. I wear this thing a lot. It's definitely my new winter favorite. I decided to pair it with a black thermal tee, black leggings and these black OTK boots, also from Charming Charlie! The ladies that helped me said the vest looks great with a pair of distressed jeans and chuck taylors as well so it's easily dressed up or down which is a huge plus for me when I'm picking out pieces like this.

I really wanted to pair this outfit with something other than my diaper bag since I bought this outfit specifically for date night. Bonus it fit diapers, wipes and an extra change of clothes for Finn ;) I went with this cute black satchel and added the furry pom key chain.

Another piece I really really love is this little choker. I'm totally late to the whole choker trend also (I swear having a baby pretty much takes you out of the loop of all the cute fashion trends) but I really LOVE them now! Josh even complimented me on it, so that's a win in my book! It was so fun being able to get dressed up and feel beautiful for a night. Lord knows those days are far and in between with Finley who is still nursing and refuses to eat solids but I'll save that for another post. It's a real treat haha!

If you want to check out any of the pieces I'm wearing I linked them above AND Charming Charlie is offering a promotion of $10 off your purchase of $60+ with the promo code HOL1060 but hurry! It's only valid until December 6, 2016. Use it at charmingcharlie.com or Charming Charlie stores.

5 Things.

The time change has totally messed my kids up you guys. Yep, the time change that happened last week. The boys are still being affected by it and it's messing up our sleep jam. I'm hopeful that they will get back to their regular sleep schedules because it's not for anyone when they're cranky :)

I've been taking a little time away from IG and this blog the past couple weeks to get in extra cuddles with the family. Sometimes I let the weight of my world weigh down heavily on me and I need to step back and remember how lucky I am to have my sweet boys by my side.

Josh and I have been extra busy with our house. Everything is kind of going really fast now. We've met with a few builders and are now trying to decide on the best one for us. We've had our real estate agreement for our lot sitting on the counter for at least a month. The unknown is so scary. Getting ready to build a house is extra terrifying.

Finley is officially crawling!!! He's been army crawling since 5 months but now he's full on crawling and pulling up and sitting up. I already want another baby. I never thought I'd say those words for a long long time. I always thought moms who would claim to be baby hungry when they in fact just had a baby were nuts. But here I am, one of those moms.

Bella Ella is my new favorite boutique. I was able to get a couple winter coats from there and am in love! This cognac faux leather is my favorite and for only $40 it was a steal! You guys have to check them out, you'll be sure to want to spend your entire paycheck there haha.

Disneyland Countdown Calendar with Park Savers

Parksavers

When we lived in Anaheim as a child, Disneyland was an all the time thing. Disney movies were a staple and Mickey was the greatest mouse there was (and still is!). When Josh and I were dating I'd drag him to Disneyland to relive some of my childhood with me and I still remember the first time walking down Main Street U.S.A holding his hand and crying. Yep, I'll admit it. I cried taking my husband to D-land. It just really holds a special place in my heart as I'm sure it does for so many!

Going back when he had Copeland was a dream! Although he was too small to ride any of the big rides it was worth every penny and he always asks when we're going back. And just a silly story. We went last September when I was about 6 weeks pregnant with Finn, with some of our good friends. While we sat watching the Mickey's Magical Map show (okay, tearing up now just watching it again! haha) I watched as Copeland's eyes lit up and I just start weeping you guys, full on crying and trying to hide it from Josh and our friends but of course Josh sees and asks if I'm crying. I look over at him and my girlfriend Brette, who also was crying and then we look over at her husband who also was holding back tears. You guys Disney has magic powers that makes you cry like a little girl! oh I love you Disneyland!

Anyway so the other day Josh decides to measure Cope and comes out from the bedroom saying "Whelp! Guess we're going to Disneyland!" Ummmm... you guys this is SO not Josh. He isn't exactly Disney's number one fan and his idea of vacation is tropical beaches not theme parks. BUT, I think he has secretly been waiting for the day that Copeland hit 40" so that we could take him on Cars, Splash, Space and Big Thunder Mountain. We are scared for our sanity to take both boys but boy are we excited!

This year since our budget is pretty tight we are going through Park Savers to help us stay on track for this vacation. If you're not familiar with Park Savers, you need to get to know this website! Park Savers provides the best discounts on Walt Disney World and Disneyland tickets and hotels. There are so many sites claiming to sell discounted tickets that are simply not legit. There are only a few authorized resellers where you can save money and know that your tickets are valid at the parks, and Park Savers is the best! This company takes great pride in providing the lowest price, and the BEST service.

In addition to discounted park tickets, Park Savers is a full-service travel agency. You can book your entire Disney vacation package through Park Savers to take advantage of the maximum discount and a few extra perks. Packages may include either a Disney Resort Hotel or any other hotel that you prefer. If you're not interested in packages, you can purchase tickets or hotels "a la carte".

Park Savers also offers a best price guarantee, meaning that if you find a better deal on the hotel you booked with Park Savers, they'll refund the difference along with a $50 travel voucher!

So something I did last time we went to Disneyland was made a fun Disneyland countdown chain for Copeland. He was still pretty young so it was mainly me taking the chains off everyday haha but this year Copeland is old enough to understand it which is so fun! He is so excited about Disneyland and the countdown chain just adds to the excitement! I ony made the chain 30 links long so we won't start it until after Christmas.

So here is the step by step tutorial.
Black, Yellow, Red, and White Construction paper.
Draw out your lines on the yellow, red and and white strips to make it easier to cut straight strips. I made mine about and inch wide.
For the black mouse ears I just mark a straight line and then took a bottle cap to trace half circles.
Fold up the ears. *fun tip* you can write fun things to do on each link like "watch Monsters Inc." or "make Mickey Mouse pancakes". Kinda makes the days leading up to Disneyland more fun!
Here you will glue on your little white dots to the red strips.

To assemble your chain simply make a loop with the paper and either use a glue stick (what I used) or a staple it together. The colors will go Black Ears, Red Loop, Yellow Loop, White Loop, repeat.
Take another piece of black paper and cut it into two pieces, lengthwise. (disregard the red paper in this picture).
Once folded, cut in half so you have two long accordion style folded strips.
Glue strips ends together.
Cut out two small circles and add a small amount of hot glue.

Take your long black folded strips and make your way around the hot glue to form an entire circle.
Glue the ends together.
Cut out a large red circle and a smaller white circle and glue stick together. Hot glue the ears to the large circle and write in "Days Til' Disneyland!"
Hot glue your chain together.

A Spooky Front Porch with Pottery Barn Kids

pumpkin pillow (target/old) . werewolf costume PBK (sold out) . welcome mat . door color-

Halloween has always been a favorite holiday of mine. Dressing up is a big deal around here and so is decorating for this spooky and fun holiday. When Josh and I were newlyweds we were both into the super scary decorations but now that we have little ones we love the adorably spooky decor.

When I was on the search for front porch decorations Pottery Barn Kids was the obvious choice. The pieces they offer are so cute and fun for the season and Copeland had the best time helping me pick out things to make our front porch extra "soo-ky" as he calls it. He loved helping me put up the spider cut outs on the wall and always has to say good bye to Mr. Skeleton when we leave the house. This is a kid after my own heart. His love for Halloween is so cute. I love watching him get excited everytime we pull up to the house and he sees all the fun things! Having kids just makes holidays so much fun, doesn't it!?

While we were browsing Pottery Barn Kids, Copeland saw this werewolf costume and was jumping up and down and howling because he was so excited about it. I'm so happy we got it because he is the cutest little werewolf I've ever seen! We're so excited for Halloween night to take this little guy and his brother out for candy!

Also just a heads up! Every Halloween piece from Pottery Barn Kids is on major sale right now!!!
