Halloween Town

Halloween is seriously my most favorite holiday ever!
I like it just a little bit more than Christmas because I love
dressing up and candy!

This Halloween weekend was super fun!

Friday night we went to our friends party as a giant wiener and his loofah!

It was so funny and a total hit :)

I love making costumes and making something exactly how I want it so
I headed to the store and picked up 27 yards for this little number and started sewing :)

Saturday night we went to our familys party dressed as
Flynn Rider and Rapunzel from Tangled.

This was my most favorite costume to date!

It was so fun dressing up as a princess from one of my
favorite Disney movies!

Making it took way longer than the loofah.
And not using a pattern was probably not a good idea.
But was so worth it because I loved how it turned out!

Here is my cute Flynn :)
I will get some more pictures tomorrow night!

And just some more pictures of the dress :)
because I'm obsessed...

We can't wait for tomorrow night to dress up for Trick or Treaters and Haunted Houses!

More pictures to come!!

daybreak.

My sister-in-law let me take some pictures of my nephews yesterday!

We took them at daybreak, which is such a cute area!

Loved it!

I totally need to take mine and Joshs winter pictures there!

Newport.

We took a few pictures on the beach while we were there :)

the happiest.

California was amazing.
Even though it was kind of a last minute trip
it was still the best!

I want to go back right now!

I miss the beach and Disneuland and my dad.

I keep telling Josh to apply for the
Disneyland Engineeing internhip :)

Anyway!

Our trip started out in Vegas where
we stayed at the Paris Las Vegas.

We've never stayed there before and it
was really nice, a little smaller than some
of the other hotels, but so pretty!

Our room overlooked the "effiel tower" and
"arch de triumph" and the Bellagio fountains.
We loved it!

Friday we headed to California and  Saturday we
played in Disneyland :)

It was such fun. I love Disneyland.
I was raised in Dinseyland and so it's always fun
going back with Josh and my family.

Sunday we headed to the beach just to feel the
sand and smell the salty water in the air.

It was incredible.

A part of us is really wanting to have Josh finish
school at USC and just live there for a year or 2 and
rent out our cute little home here :)

Anyway!

Enjoy these pictures of our little weekend in Caliornia.
...in no particular order...

We went on the ferris wheel in California Adventures
and we chose the one that swings.
Ya I felt like I was going to die.
This is me trying to get over my fear of heights and my fear winning.

sleepy husband

I'm obsessed with this place

aw, love.

So this is really gross, but when we got home there
were about 1,00 flies in our kitchen!!!

So disgusting, I have no idea how they got in
or if they hatched while we were gone
but I wanted to die, we spent like an hour last ngiht
trying to kill them all.

Is there a spray or something that is made to kill flies?!

Family Pictures

I've been searching for the perfect outfits for
our family pictures for like the past month.

I couldn't decide between dark fall colors
or light airy neutrals.

I'm thinking black. Haha.
I always seem to fall in love with black around
this time of year, but I'm also thinking
mauve lace and tans?

Maybe both!?

Anyway, I bought this cute shirt from H&M
today and am going to plan one of our outfits
around it. Here's what I've come up with.

Now onto honey boo boo child's outfit. aka Josh.
I have no clue where to start.
So that's that.

I also need some photo props.
Maybe huge balloons and fringe? Oh, yes.

Hopefully we can get our pictures done
before next week, when we will be
at the happiest place on earth :)
