baby love.

Josh and I are officialy wanting to
start a family!

&& This is absolutley terrifying to me us.

Also, maybe it's a faux pas to
be sharing this on my blog, but it's a journey
that Josh and I are going through so I wanted
to have somewhere to write about it and
share my feelings on the subject.

Right now, I'm terrified that I won't be
able to even get pregnant, which might
be silly of me to think, but it can happen.

This is another reason why I wanted to share
this, I don't know if I could handle not writing
about this if something like that were to happen.

At the moment, however, we are hopeful :)
So here goes everything!

We have been planning this for sometime now.
Almost a year!

Yep, it was about this time last year that we
decided we either would or would not start
trying fall of 2012.

Our main concern was buying a home.
Now that that is accomplished, we are both
so much more open to the idea of parenthood.

Although it's still very overwhelimng and scary
for 2 people who really have never thought about
having kids before, it will be quite the adventure.
I don't know why we are so nervous about it.
We just are.
I'm sure everything is going to amazing though!

And I can already picture Josh being the most amazing
dad, like ever. He is just too dang cute! I can't even handle it!

Anyway, I have been preparing my body for
about the past couple months for a baby.

I'm crazy obsessive about things and just need
everything to be perfect or as close to perfect as possible.

I've been taking the most awesome
tasting prenatal vitamins. They are gummies!
I have a serious problem with swallowing pills.
I just can't do it without gagging.
So these made me soo happy!

I seriously could eat all of them in one sitting, they taste like candy! :)

I've also been working out a bit, trying to get
my booty in shape for baby.

I've also cut out all most sugary drinks from my diet
and am really trying to eat super healthy and stay away from
sugary foods!

And just to make sure the timing is perfect
I downloaded an app called What to Expect. Fertility.

It tracks your cycle and tells you the days that
you are most fertile. And it's awesome!
If you're trying to prego your eggo, it's a must!

Well that's all that's been happening so far!
Hopefully we will have some good news in the
next few months :)

Here's to happy baby making!
haha.

P.S!
This has nothing to do with babies.
But I had to share my obsession with this awesome
leopard scarf :)
LOVE.

Hocus Pocus

It's not Halloween unless you watch Hocus Pocus :)
It's probably the greatest Halloween movie. Ever.

I have been wanting to make a sweet witch costume
for the past few years now and just haven't really had
the time to sit down and make one, but I'm determined
to do it this year since there are a lot of kids in our
neighborhood I want to have a fun costume to answer the door in
when they come trick or treating!

I was totally inspired when I went to Tai Pan the other day
and saw this amazing wide brim witch hat, but for $40?

I took like a million pictures of it and how it was made so
I could copy cat it and make one for cheaper and more
Hocus Pocus-ey.

So today I went to the fabric store and was there for 2 hours!
trying to find the perfect fabrics and after about 3 hours and
trying to figure out how to make it without a pattern I am almost
done with it and can start on my dress :)

It's nowehere near being finished, I still need some
feathers and some more material and ribbon and a giant spider
but I'm loving how its turning out!

I just used felt and overlayed it with some awesome
spiderweb netting fabric and used some pretty
and different textured glitterly and sequined fabrics for
the big floppy bow :)

Of course I had to have a big bow for a super feminine touch :)

Anyway, I can't wait for Halloween and to finish this
years costume! I'll add some more pictures of everything
when I'm closer to being done :)

Saturday Date.

So one of our goals this year was to buy a new car!
Woo!

We've been talking a lot about it and just have gone back
and forth on so many cars, we seriosuly have been so indecisive!

Today Josh and I decided to go test drive some and
kind of feel out different cars to see exactly what we want.

And well my dream car for the past few years has been a BMW x5.

I seriously LOVE them!

They aren't too big and are super roomy inside plus the panoramic skylight!?

Ya, they are awesome.

Josh wasn't super conviced on a BMW until we test drove a few of them today.

Now we are totally set on either an X5 or a 3 series.
Now we just have to decide if we want a SUV or a car.

We would love a suv for the snow and since we want to start a family soon,
an SUV makes sense. But the 3 series is incredible and still pretty roomy!
+ pretty great gas mileage!

Oh man, I hate deciding things!

Josh took this picture because I was literally so giddy today while shopping.
It was funy :)

This car was perfect!
Butttt here's the weird thing.
The inside was pretty much beat to hell.
They were asking wayyyy over what it is worth
and when we told them we didn't want it
because Josh had a feeling that there was some internal damage
they dropped the price about 6K!

That doesn't seem normal right?

So we went to CarMax, which is seriously the greatest place ever, and
they are looking into getting us an X5 in from either Vegas or Texas :)

So yay! Hopefully one comes in soon!
We can;t wait for a new car!!!

Get Ready With Me.

So I thought it would be super fun to do one of these videos :)

All make-up used is on my youtube channel under the video!

Hahahha how great is this still shot!?
